Ramona H.E.A.R.T. Mural Projects (4 mural projects)

To Whom It May Concern;
Rik has done 2 murals for the Ramona H.E.A.R.T. Mural Project, a 501(c)(3) Corporation. We currently have 13 murals, Rick having done the last two. His work is amazing, the community has commented positively on them – we hope to have him do more! He is professional, researches carefully the community of Ramona and the suggested topic of the mural. He always honors his deadlines, and our installer even commented that he’s the first of our muralists who also knew how to handle a drill motor!

The Board of Directors would heartily recommend Rik for mural projects in any community.

We would like to express our great appreciation for the beautiful mural and motivational quotes you recently painted in our employee courtyard at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital. Your creative ideas significantly enhanced the basic concept we originally had in mind for you to paint. We were especially pleased with the extra research you did to incorporate potted herbs in your mural that would be found in an Italian courtyard.

During the time you worked on the mural there was a wide variety of weather from rain to extreme heat. Yet you showed up every day and worked on the project despite less than ideal weather. Our employees were eager to have the garden available for use, and you finished the project on time as you promised. We also want to express our appreciation for cooperating with our Plant Operations staff and being safety conscious while working at our facility.

Our staff and patients are also continuing to enjoy the mural you painted in the ICU courtyard several years ago. Your murals have added a unique and beautiful element to both courtyards and will be enjoyed for many years to come.
Best wishes in your future endeavors.

“It is my pleasure to recommend Richard Erickson, the artist. He created
a stunning mural for me for the ASID Showcase House in the
juice bar area. The mural is a recreation of a soda fountain/juice bar
and it is done with such wit and skill that I’m sure it will be one of the
hits of the show! Richard works tirelessly to get the effect he wants and
has such a pleasant way of interacting with the people around him that
it was an asset to have him on this project.”

“I want to thank you for the outstanding job you did on the dining facility mural at US Coast Guard Sector San Diego. Your talent and attention to detail is only matched by your patience and creativity. Your flexibility with your work hours allowed us to maintain normal operations in the dining facility while the mural was completed. Through your beautiful mural you have given recognition to the dining facility staff for many years of service, while providing a relaxing, good natured atmosphere for all to enjoy. I appreciate your support of the military and your willingness to share yours tricks of the trade with a fellow artist. The command loves the mural and I have a feeling you will be coming back to the Sector in the future.”

From the minute I walked into the day care center in Alpine and saw you painting the Harry Potter murals throughout the building,I knew that one day I would call on you to do something in my home. There aren’t too many people that understand what I’m looking for when I say “I’m decorating in an Egyptian theme”, I just get a blank look and then the person shows me something that is totally off the wall.

When I called you and told you I wanted an Egyptian mural covering my entire living room wall, within a day you sent me some ideas that were exactly what I was talking about.Well, you finished the mural today and my husband and I really love it. You captured the look that we were after and I can hardly wait to complete the rest of the room.

Thank you for being so prompt, reliable, and trust worthy to come into our home when we weren’t even here and respect our belongings. What a gift to be so talented! We would recommend you to anyone that is in the market for a mural.Take care and I hope to call upon you again in the future.

“It was our distinct pleasure to have Rik work with us on our beautiful additions to our home.  He took some general ideas and created the enchanting entrance that your can see in the photos.  He took pictures of tow of our favorite dogs and turned them into a clever scene as you can see.  Sensitive to our needs, he added this bird as a reminder of the daughter who had recently passed away.  We will forever be thinking of her and him when we see this.
Finally, for years we tried to repair paint splatters on the stucco and others could only figure out how to make it worse.  Like magic, he concocted the precise shade of paint to cover these massive blotches.  He hunted them all down and made them disappear.
It was a delight and honor to be in the presence of such a kind, gentle, creative individual.”

We can only express our excitement and pride in our new mural by Rik Erickson by saying wow, and it’s much more beautiful than ever we expected. Rik is a true professional artist. We gave him an idea of what we wanted and left him alone to put his artistic abilities to work. We love to wine taste all over California and the Northwest. From our preliminary meetings with Rik, he came up with a beautiful vineyard view. The mural is on the north side of our garage next to our patio. We feel like we’re looking out at the vineyards and countryside in Paso Robles, Santa Ynez or Sonoma during our evening cocktail and glass of wine.

We strongly recommend you check out Rik’s website at Murals Fantastic.

To Whom It Might Concern,

In late June 2005, my wife and I were looking for someone to do “faux” treatments on the interior walls of our home and possibly some trompe l’oeil images on one living room wall. We tried unsuccessfully to contact a couple of specialists who were recommended to us by a developer (one of whom never returned calls or e-mails), and then I did my own search and discovered Richard Erickson’s web site. After seeing his work, we knew we wanted to talk to Richard.

Happily, Richard not only responded promptly, but he agreed to meet us early the next morning before we went to work. I had given
him some ideas as to what we wanted, and he showed up on time with several samples, one of which was perfect for our living room/dining room walls.

Richard started work soon thereafter and by the time he was done our home had been transformed into something much more elegant
and aesthetically pleasing. The walls perfectly matched the sample he’d shown us that first day – a “first” in my experience. We found

Richard to be accommodating, but because he has a fine-artist’s eye and sensibility, we also benefited from tapping into his expertise and
implementing his suggestions, and we’re glad we had his input.

We expect to hire Richard again for more work in other areas of the house and perhaps outdoors, and we highly recommend him for any
kind of work that enables him to utilize his considerable skills.

To Whom It May Concern:

This will serve to highly recommend the professional painting and mural services of Richard Erickson. Richard painted a gorgeous mural of Venice Italy for an empty niche in my home. Before I called Richard I researched various artists and visited home expos in my area to find the perfect artist for a mural I had in mind. I found Richard’s website and was impressed with his work. So I contacted him.

Richard and I met to discuss the details surrounding the painting. I found Richard to be a good listener. He captured all the details with great precision. When Richard finished the mural I was absolutely in awe of his work. He used the most amazing colors which stood out. I was also impressed with his attention to detail. He added some of his own touches to the canvas which create a natural element to the Venetian scene.

My family and visitors absolutely love the painting Richard created and I know that it will bring our family many years of joy when we look at the Venice scene.

In closing, Richard’s work went beyond meeting his contractual obligations. I highly recommend Richard Erickson without reservation for any one who is looking for a painter and who appreciates beautiful work.

Ecstatic! Excited, Awe struck! Anxious!
Those are some of the feelings I have with the AFRICAN WALL MURAL you created, and I cannot wait to have it installed in my house. As you know, I have worked with big cats for over 5 years. Based upon another African mural I saw in a Florida Design magazine. I decided I wanted one painted for my bedroom wall. I had no idea where to turn, as most animal painters I was familiar with did not
do large murals, certainly not one this big.

Somehow I came across your web site and as soon as I saw your oriental painting I thought you could be the one to commission this work. As you know I did have reservations and told you so. I did not see you painting the kind of animals I wanted you to paint, nor with the detail
and realism I wanted. You assured me you could do it and I signed up with reservations. I loved the process where you e-mail each day’s progress.

I felt a part of your work, and more importantly gave me an opportunity to make important suggestions and changes. I know what Lions look like and the detail I was looking for, and you were completely open to suggestions, and made the necessary changes to meet my needs. I thank you for that, knowing that artists like to be left to their own creativity.

You have far exceeded my expectations and I am absolutely in love with this mural. I am envious of your talent, and I have and will continue to
share your work with others, and just want you to know how pleased and happy you have made your customer. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

Best Regards,
Scott Dveris

Alpine Tendercare

My husband and I wish to express our sincere appreciation for the magnificent work you did on our preschool, Alpine Tendercare II.
When the parents, and especially the children walk up the stairs of Diagon Alley and into the Muggle’s Learning Chamber they are over whelmed.
Universally their mouths drop open and exclaim. “Oh My god!”, “Holy Cow!”, and my favorite, “This is sooooo cool.”

The atmosphere your work has set for this tutoring program will ensure its success. The parents and children are sold on it once they step into the room and see your work.
Thank you again for your creativity and hard work

Your work has made our Master Bedroom Suite more beautiful then we could have ever imagined. Our decision to use your services
was based on your web site and 1 in person meeting. 3 months later you came to our house in Fallbrook and influenced the way
we feel and live in our home.

We are sending you pictures of the Master Bedroom fireplace wall you created, the great fresco ceiling, and Trompe L’oeil
at the end of our hall. Your skill is so advanced, and you work so fast. We really enjoyed having you in our home.We hope you can show what you did for us on your website. It is so beautiful.

To Whom it may concern;

This letter is to recommend the faux painting work of Richard Erickson. He recently completed finish work on my remodeled bathroom, matching the finish he had done in my adjoining bedroom several years before. He also painted four Redouti style flowers, in frames in the skylight shaft of the bath, and they are quite satisfying. As an art history teacher, I have definite opinions as to the type of art I want in my home, and Richard has always taken my tastes and desires into serious consideration, and has executed them very well.
I would not hesitate to use him for any future faux work as he is clean, reliable, efficient and very talented.
