Trick The Eye, 3-D effect, trompe l’oeil, hyper-realistic, faux…all may be terms for a work of art that mimics actual reality in some way. This includes taking into consideration proper light-source and shadow placements, accurate vanishing points and many other factors that make the artwork “Pop” or “appear real”.
